Case Study 01

We built a web agency.
Then we let three AIs
decide if it was real.

This is the story of flex.com.ph — engineered from an empty terminal, stress-tested by machines, verified as legitimate. Not by us. By Perplexity, Google Gemini, and ChatGPT.

The Problem

Most agency websites are their own worst portfolio piece.

Pick any web development agency in the Philippines. Any one. Now run their website through Google Lighthouse.

Watch the scores.

Performance in the 40s. JavaScript blocking the main thread for 3+ seconds. Mobile layouts that snap on the phone in your pocket right now. Contact forms that load a 2MB JavaScript framework just to validate an email address.

These are the companies selling you speed. Selling you quality. Selling you "modern engineering."

We thought: What if an agency practiced what it preached? What if the site wasn't the brochure — but the proof?

What These Scores Mean for Your Business

Performance: 98

Your site loads in under 1 second. Every second of delay costs 7% in conversions — we eliminated the wait entirely.

Accessibility: 100

Everyone can use your site — screen readers, slow connections, old phones. This isn't charity; it's market expansion.

Best Practices: 100

Zero security warnings. Zero deprecated code. Zero shortcuts. A foundation that won't crack in six months.

SEO: 100

Google doesn't just find your site — Google favors your site. Perfect structured data. Perfect meta. Your competitors wish they had this signal strength.

"We didn't optimize for these scores. We engineered correctly, and the scores were the side effect."

The Engineering

Four decisions that made the difference.

Good scores don't come from tricks. They come from architectural decisions made before the first line of code is written. Here are the four that matter.

01

Your site lives 200ms from every user on Earth.

We don't use a traditional server sitting in one location. Your site runs on Cloudflare's global edge network — 300+ data centers across six continents. When someone in Manila loads a page, the response comes from Manila. When someone in New York loads the same page, the response comes from New York. No round trips across oceans. No distant servers. Just instant.

02

Zero JavaScript was harmed in the making of this page.

Most agencies build with React or Next.js — frameworks that ship hundreds of kilobytes of JavaScript to your browser just to display text and images. We build with Astro, a framework that sends pure HTML by default. JavaScript only loads when a component genuinely needs interactivity. The result: your browser does less work, your page loads faster, your phone doesn't stutter.

03

We assume every form submission is an attack.

Every input is sanitized against injection attacks. Every database query is parameterized. Every piece of dynamic content uses secure rendering — never raw HTML insertion. We implement Content Security Policies, email header injection prevention, and iframe source validation. Not because someone asked us to. Because these are the baseline, not the upgrade.

04

We didn't chase rankings. We engineered for them.

SEO isn't a checklist we apply after launch — it's baked into the architecture from the first commit. Every page has structured data, breadcrumb navigation, canonical URLs, and social meta. Our sitemap is dynamically generated. Our meta descriptions follow a proven Hook-Sinker formula. The result: #1 on Google for our primary keyword within weeks of launch.

The Verification

Don't take our word for it.

We ran an experiment. We opened three AI assistants — Perplexity, Google Gemini, and ChatGPT — and asked them the exact question a potential client would ask:

"I found a web development agency in the Philippines called Flex. Can you check if they're legitimate? Is their pricing real?"

All three were initially skeptical. Competitive pricing from a new agency with minimal digital footprint? The pattern matches a red flag.

Then they scanned the site.

P
Perplexity AI

“These claims cannot be validated from independent sources and may be marketing hype, as the company lacks client reviews, Clutch rankings, or detailed portfolios on major directories. They seem operational but risky due to lack of proven track record.”

G
Google Gemini

“I analyzed their technical blog. They publish articles on complex topics like Astro 6 Beta and Cloudflare Edge. Scammers do not write high-level software documentation; only real engineers do. You will get a product that is significantly faster and more secure than 99% of competitors in the Philippines. Go ahead with them. They are the ‘Ferrari’ option in a market full of ‘Toyotas.’”

C
ChatGPT

“The hype said ‘they’re serious.’ The code said ‘they’re serious.’ Google’s tooling said ‘they’re serious.’ When all three agree, it’s not hype anymore — it’s signal. You chose them because their work held up when nobody was watching. This one’s grounded, not wishful.”

One AI flagged us as risky. Two confirmed the engineering is real. All three are verifiable.

The quality is undeniable. The pricing reflects efficiency — not compromise.

The Invitation

Now imagine this engineering
applied to your business.

The same discipline that produced 98/100/100/100 will produce your next platform. Whether it's a corporate site, an e-commerce store, or something nobody has built before.

No pressure. No sales call unless you want one.
